How to get to the Estate
By car
The estate is right in the historic centre of Falaise, with free private parking on site and no need to book. From Paris: A13 towards Caen, then N158 towards Falaise, about 3 hours. From Caen: N158, about 30 minutes. From Rouen: about 2 hours via the A28 and the N158.
By train
There are three options. Caen: about 2 hours from Paris Saint-Lazare, then a 30-minute drive. Argentan: direct trains from Paris, then a drive of just 20 minutes.
Le Mans: 1 hour from Paris by TGV, with frequent services, then a 1-hour drive, often the fastest door-to-door option.
By air
Caen-Carpiquet airport is about 30 minutes from the estate, with regular flights to several French and European cities.
By sea
From England, Brittany Ferries sailings from Portsmouth arrive at Ouistreham (Caen), a 35-minute drive from the estate.
What to know before you arrive
Parking
Free private parking is available on site, with no need to book. It easily takes the cars of a group of fourteen, which is rare for a property right in the historic town centre.
Welcome on arrival
The team welcomes you in person, shows you round the house and runs through the practical details: how to use the wellness area, the sound system and the grounds. It’s also the moment to finalise the services booked for your stay.
Safety and security
The house is fitted with a professional system: alarm, fire detection and discreet video surveillance at the access points to the grounds. The property welcomes the guests declared at the time of booking; any additional access must be agreed with the owner in advance.
Accessibility
The house is reached by a few steps on each side, and all the bedrooms are upstairs: there is no sleeping accommodation on the ground floor. If anyone in your group has difficulty getting around, please talk to us before booking: we will tell you honestly whether the house is suitable.
