Villa with a swimming pool in Normandy

Pool & Spa

A complex worthy of the finest hotels

200 m² clad entirely in stone, from floor to ceiling, with a kitchen, changing room, shower and toilets. A genuine wellness complex, for the sole use of the house.

Hydrotherapy jets

Built into the pool, powerful jets like those of a thalassotherapy centre ease tension in your back and neck, and a counter-current swim system is there for keen swimmers.

The hot tub on the terrace

An open-air hot tub at the foot of the house, to carry your wellbeing outdoors, under the stars or in the sunshine.

Infrared sauna

A gentler, more enveloping heat than a traditional sauna, up to 65°C, for safer use. The cabin adjoins the pool.

the complex

Designed like a five-star hotel pool

The complex was designed and built by a manufacturer specialising in pools for hotels and luxury residences. A 15-metre pool heated to 29°C from April to October, stone from floor to ceiling, glazing that opens onto the grounds and their century-old trees: the facilities of a grand hotel, for you alone.

safety and security

A child-friendly pool

A 30 cm shallow ledge is set aside for children, and the pool reaches a depth of 1.50 m. Safety is twofold: lockable glass doors secure access, and a rigid roller cover, strong enough to bear a child’s weight, covers the pool when it is not in use.

The infrared sauna

Gentle, enveloping heat in the cabin, up to 65°C, followed, for lovers of the Nordic ritual outside the heating season, by a dip in the pool’s bracing water.

The hot tub

Let the bubbling water carry you away, beneath a starry sky or in soft, low light.

a private spa

A villa with a swimming pool in Normandy, opening onto the grounds

An indoor pool

The expansive glazing lets the light in and keeps the rain at bay. In Normandy, that makes all the difference between a decorative pool and one you genuinely swim in, in the morning as well as at the end of the day.

Water kept at 29°C

The pool is heated continuously from April to October: there is nothing to programme and nothing to wait for. Slip in when you wake up, between outings, or on your return from the D-Day beaches.

A natural extension of the grounds

The glazing opens straight onto the sequoias and century-old trees. You step from the pool to the terrace without a break, and in summer, the barbecue and garden furniture extend the swim until dinner. The house’s seven bedrooms are just a few steps away.

At the heart of the sights

William the Conqueror’s castle is 400 metres away, the Suisse Normande and the Pays d’Auge thirty minutes, the D-Day beaches an hour. You go sightseeing in the morning and swim in the late afternoon: that is the rhythm an indoor pool at home makes possible.

Reserved exclusively for guests

No slots to book, no opening hours, no other swimmers. The space belongs to the group staying in the house, from morning to night, for the whole of your stay. Towels are provided.

Hydrotherapy in the pool itself

Massage jets and a counter-current swim system are built into the pool, so you can go from swimming to unwinding without moving. The sauna is right alongside, and the hot tub on the terrace carries the ritual on in the open air.
